In 2017, imports of leather and footwear reached $9.8 billion, increasing by 10.7% from 2016. With high-quality leather and original designs, Maison Gil can break into the growing Chinese leather footwear market.
1000 Hills Distillery
1000 Hills produces unique Made in Rwanda – including, triple distilled liquors, a Coffee Liqueur, Vodka, Light Spiced Rum, London Dry Gin, Macadamia Nut Liqueur and Single Malt Whisky! They also produce a variety of infused coffees with their liquors! 1000 Hills is also East Africa’s first craft distillery!
Social impact is at the heart of 1000 Hills work. Located in Rwanda, they source materials locally, thus supporting micro and small businesses. They work with leading international development agencies in Rwanda which are offering technical training to smallholder farmers so they can use our distillers’ residues to increase their crop and livestock production. They also turn the Methanol by-product into a low-cost mosquito repellent.

Millie Collines
The Mille Collines story begins in Kigali in 2008 when the paths of two passionate women crossed: Antoinette, a Rwandan seamstress and Ines, a Spanish design student. They both shared the same vision; a belief that uniting talents would lead to creating ground
breaking products in Africa. Ines’ best friend Marc joined her in Rwanda and with Antoinette’s mentorship they created the first
apparel collection.

Green Mountain Arabica Coffee LTD is a Limited by share Company incorporated by Rwanda Law in 2013,the Company is a Producer and Exporter of coffee. The Company process coffees cherry from 1200 smallholder coffee farmers, and coffee from cooperatives and as well coffee from its own coffee farms. The Company is producing ISO 19001 Certified coffee and as well RFA certified coffee.
